Why is verification of identity required?
Under the rules governing land transactions, it is a requirement to ensure trust and safety that every party to a transaction must have their identity verified. This helps to protect all parties against fraud.
-
How does it work?
Our mobile representative comes to you to perform the face-to-face identity check. ZipID then reviews, compiles and certifies a report for secure transmission to your conveyancer.
-
Does ZipID come to my suburb?
ZipID is currently available in NSW, SA, WA and VIC metro areas and suburbs. View a comprehensive list of the suburbs ZipID services.
-
How long will the appointment take?
Our survey process takes approximately 4 to 5 minutes per person. The appointment will be conducted by a specially trained ZipID representative from Toll Fast.
-
What identification documents are required?
The type of identification documents required depends upon the nature of your transaction. Our booking form will walk you through what you require.
-
Are copies of the identification documents acceptable?
No. It is a requirement that the verifying documentation must be original and not copies.
-
What if the identification documents are expired?
If your identification documents have expired or will be expired at the time of your appointment you will need to have them reissued.
-
How are identity documents protected?
We are in the business of securely protecting and respecting personal information. For more information please view our privacy policy.
